Present Wrapping:A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

Present Wrapping:A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

Hello darlings I got this idea for a fluffy one shot from @AvengersAims on Twitter who comes up with these imagine situations about Tom Hiddleston and The Avengers Cast. Here’s a fluffy one shot based on this imagine: Tom and you are wrapping up Christmas presents, he sticks a red bow on your head and then says `All I want is you`

I knocked this out at half 12 this morning so sorry if the story isn’t very good or if there are any spelling mistakes. Enjoy darlings. For @AvengersAims <3

You and Tom were spending your first Christmas together. You’d been dating for just under a year. You met in the coffee shop where you worked. He came in and ordered a cup of coffee before going to sit at a table near the back of the café, near the window to admire the view and read his latest script.

He became a regular customer after that and you always looked forward to seeing him when he came in for his cup of coffee when he was in town.

It wasn’t until after he had been a few times that you got talking properly, yes he’d ask you how your day was going but this time he came in he really spoke to you and asked for you number. You gave it to him without hesitation. I mean who wouldn’t give the charming, amazing Tom Hiddleston their phone number? He promised to call you later that evening before wrapping his dark blue scarf around his neck and leaving the café, going out into the cold winter streets of London.

He called that evening arranging a dinner date for the next evening. The next day dragged at the café and all you wanted to do was go home and get ready for dinner with Tom.

He picked you up at seven on the dot dressed in a three piece suit and blue and black striped tie his hair a slight ginger and a few days stubble on his gorgeous face. He said you looked beautiful before offering you his arm and escorting you to a nice small restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden.

Over dinner you found out you shared the same interests in literature and music. He asked you about your work, you replied saying you were an aspiring author and that working in the café paid the bills but it wasn’t really what you wanted to do for the rest of your life. You asked about his work and the latest films he was working on.

Tom escorted you home like the perfect gentleman he is, giving you the softest of kisses at the door and saying that he had a lovely time and that he would call you to arrange another date.

You saw each other everyday after that, well most days depending on his filming schedule. Sometimes he would take you out to dinner or the cinema or dancing and other times you were quite happy enjoying each others company at one of your flats watching films. You loved having his company. You talked about everything and anything.

Six months later you had moved in with him, it just seemed easier considering you were always with each other and often sleeping at his house anyway. He’d cook dinner for you while you wrote or you’d cook for him when he had a new script to learn. You enjoyed cuddling up infront of the fire him reading Shakespeare to you and whispering sweet nothings in your ear.

It was harder when he was away filming because you were so used to him being in his, well your house with you. Nights were the hardest; you longed to feel his warm lean body against yours, cuddling you whispering how much he loved you into your hair or making sweet love to you. It felt empty when he wasn’t there but he made up for it when he came home and talked to you everyday on the phone about how much he missed you and would prefer to be at home with you. It didn’t matter how much he was away he always came home and it was as though he had never been away.

You were now celebrating your first Christmas together, how six months had flown. You were both sat at the dining room table, presents, wrapping paper, labels and bows spread all over the place.

The tall Christmas tree stood in the corner of the room, shining different coloured lights lighting up the kitchen.

You remembered putting it up together. Tom had taken the day off especially to put it up and get in the Christmassy spirit with you. You remember it as though it was yesterday, drinking mould wine, eating mince pies and singing along to Christmas songs at the top of your lungs as you decorated the tree. You loved how he still got excited about the littlest things; Christmas was his favourite time of the year, as was his birthday. He was such a big kid at heart. Bless him.

Tom pulled you out of your daydream. “Darling, can I have some help I seem to have celotape stuck to my finger and it wont come off” I laughed helping him take the celotape off of his finger. It was now stuck on my finger. Tom laughed throwing his head back ehehe.

You spent a good five minutes trying to get the celloptape off your finger. When you finally got it off you continued wrapping presents. When Tom went to put the bow on a present for his sister he thought it would be funny to place a red bow on your forehead too.

He turns in his chair to face you placing his hand on your cheek, looking right into your eyes he says “All I want for Christmas, is you, darling” you smile leaning mirroring his reflection placing your other hand on his cheek. “You’re all I want for Christmas too, Tom” you reply before pulling him to you for a long passionate kiss. You’re on his lap by the time you both pull away for breath. “Merry Christmas darling, I love you” Tom says. You smile.

“I love you too, Tom, so much. Merry Christmas”.

You continue to spend the rest of the afternoon wrapping presents before cuddling infront of the fire with Tom reading Shakespeare aloud until you drift off into a peaceful sleep.

It Began with Wicked:A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

It Began with Wicked -A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

A/N: A one shot based on the prompt Tom performing in Twelfth Night and falling in love with the actress playing Viola sorry that there isn’t actually much Shakespeare in there. For Britt. Hope you enjoy reading and that I have done the prompt justice, darling. <3

Britt had always loved the theatre, ever since she was a little girl. Her father used to take her up to London most weekends to see the latest West End shows.

She knew she wanted to be an actress ever since she first went and saw Wicked; she had completely fallen in love with the acting, the set, the lighting, the costume, everything. She wanted to be up there getting that applause and standing ovation at the end of the performance. She loved the theatre. She always had and she had a feeling she always would.

Her mother had passed away when she was seven of breast cancer. Britt was too young to understand what had happened but her father had explained that she was looking down on her and was now an angel in heaven. It was then that her father had decided that taking her to go and see Wicked would be a good idea, a chance for her to escape and not be upset for a few hours. Britt loved it so much that it became a regular occurrence going to see a different west end show everytime they were in town.

Britt constantly took part in all of the school productions, enjoying performing and the applause and smile on her fathers face. It didn’t matter if she was the lead or just had a minor role, seeing how proud her father was of her was one of the best feelings in the world. She longed to perform and make her mother and father proud.

Her love of acting continued long into secondary school where she took all of the performing arts subjects that were available including dance and drama.

She still continued to act in the school productions, earning the role of Maria in West Side Story in her final year.

Britt also enjoyed English, especially when she studied Shakespeare, she loved how romantic and old fashioned it was and longed for men to still be how they were in those days. Unfortunately men and these days didn’t seem to know the meaning of the word chivalry.

She remembered her father taking her to see Twelfth Night when they first began going up to London. It was one of the first plays she saw. Although the first time she saw it she didn’t really understand it as she was only seven, she fell in love with the language and costumes all the same and to this day it had remained one of her favourite Shakespeare plays.

After leaving secondary school Britt went on to study performing arts at college before getting accepted into RADA. It was during this time that Britt’s father passed away of a heart attack. He had always had problems with his heart but it had recently begun to get worse. He died in his sleep. That was really hard on Britt, not being there when he had died and not being allowed home to organise the funeral due to her timetable. It was instead left in the hands of her uncle, which she was glad about as she was only nineteen at the time.

She went home for the funeral. It was horrible having to say goodbye to her father, having to see him dressed in his favourite shirt and black trousers looking asleep when really he was dead. A weird feeling. She could now see why her father hadn’t allowed her to go to her mothers; she didn’t wish death on anyone especially if it was this painful. She felt as though her heart had been broken and shattered into a million little pieces.

For a while Britt considered not going back to RADA. Acting held too many memories of both her mother and father. It was because of them, her father especially that she had begun acting in the first place and now that neither of them were here it felt pointless to continue with it.

After a few months of moping around during the summer she finally convinced herself to go back to RADA and fulfil her dream, not just for herself but for her mother and father too. She could hear both of them telling her not to give up on her dream just because they weren’t with her anymore, it didn’t mean that they weren’t proud of her or didn’t love her; they would continue to support her wherever they were.

Once back at RADA Britt threw herself back into her studies, auditioning for countless roles and shows and singing and dancing every waking moment of the day.

It was during her second year at RADA that she discovered Tom Hiddleston. She was browsing the boards of previous students when she came across his name. She recognised him to look at more than by his name. He was very handsome. She thought nothing more of it and continued her way through RADA graduating with a 2:1 in performing arts.

Now three years out of RADA at twenty five Britt was now standing outside The Apollo Theatre, the very theatre where she had over twenty eight years ago seen Twelfth Night for the first time. It was like dejavu and as though she was seven all over again.

Instead of going to watch the performance however she was going to be acting on the same stage playing Viola, the role she had longed to play for years, opposite one Tom Hiddleston.

She had seen him audition for the role of Orsino when she went to audition, he was amazing, he saw her too stealing a few glances and smiles at her here and there but nothing more as when she thought about going to say hello he was getting up to leave. Maybe I’ll see him again she thought. She was right and when she had found out he was her co-star she had gone home and watched all of his filmography. With every performance he got better and better and to think he started out at RADA, the same stage school she went to was just amazing. Britt wouldn’t have said she was a fangirl as such, she wasn’t one to reblog all of his pictures on Tumblr or read fanfiction, she did however follow him on Twitter. His tweets were so inspirational and she had a feeling inside her that made her believe that Tom was one of the people who inspired her to continue acting and fulfil her dream.

* * * * * *

It had been years since Tom had done theatre. His last on the stage was in 2008 when he had starred as Cassio in Othello opposite Ewan McGregor. He had always enjoyed theatre. It was like going back to his roots.

Since his name had begun to get recognised however Tom hadn’t had a chance to go back to theatre, he missed it and was just waiting for the right role to arise. That role came a few months later when his agent had called him letting him know that Twelfth Night was being performed at the Apollo Theatre and the part of Orsino was up for audition.

Just because his name was now getting recognised and because he was becoming famous as a film actor rather than a stage actor he still had to audition like everyone else. Tom made his way down to the Donmar Theatre where the auditions were being held dressed in his dark jeans, grey t shirt, black leather jacket and brown cowboy boots. Walking into the theatre bought it all back for Tom, why he became an actor in the first place, The Donmar really was like home, he hadn’t been here for a good five years, the last time being when he played Cassio.

Tom walked into the theatre where a group of people were sitting in the isle seats waiting to audition. It was there that he saw her, one of the most beautiful young women he had ever seen. She was beautiful, dressed in black leggings, brown knee high boots and a purple and white striped jumper her brown locks cascading down to her shoulders. He was smitten.

He didn’t manage to catch her name or find out anything about her as he had to leave before she got the chance to audition as he had a meeting about a new film project.

Tom loved Shakespeare and was uncontrollably excited when he landed the role of Orsino. He wondered who would be playing his Viola. He hoped it would be the mystery girl he first saw at the audition. He was about to find out.

Britt arrived at the theatre dead on 9am. She was never one to be late especially for her first day of rehearsals. She was one of the first to arrive, followed shortly by the rest of the cast and the director, John.  Britt was talking with John when Tom walked in. The whole cast stopped talking as soon as he walked in and John turned to face him.

“Ah, Tom, great to see you again” John said. Tom walked over to where he was standing holding out his hand. “You too, John. Thankyou for offering me the role of Orsino I really appreciate it.” He replied shaking his hand. Tom turned to face the girl who was standing next to John and was met with the most gorgeous big brown eyes. He smiled at Britt. The young woman from the audition. “And who might this beautiful young woman be?” Tom asked extending his hand.

 “Your Viola” John replied.

“Britt. Britt Adams” Britt replied taking his hand.

“Tom. Tom Hiddleston. It’s a pleasure to meet you darling.” He replied turning her hand over in his and placing a delicate kiss on the back of it before smiling the most beautiful smile that reached his eyes. Britt giggled, she didn’t realise he would have this effect on her.

“Fair maiden, may I escort you to your seat so we can get started with rehearsal?” Tom bowed beginning to get into character. Britt laughed again. “You may, kind sir. Thankyou” she replied. Tom laced her hand through his elbow escorting her to sit next to him in the front row of the theatre so John could do a quick introduction before rehearsals began.

John introduced himself and gave the cast a general idea of what would happen explaining that it was a 16 week run 7 shows a week, one every weeknight and two on a Saturday and a bit of information about the theatre before beginning the rehearsals.

The first day was generally spent getting to know each other and pairing off those who would end up as couples throughout the play. Tom spent the morning with Britt and the afternoon with a girl called Megan who would be playing Olivia.

A bond was immediately formed between Britt and Tom. They found out that they shared the same taste in Shakespeare plays and film. Britt thanked him for inspiring her telling him about finding his picture at RADA which they spoke about for a while and how much fun they both had had. Britt felt like she had known him for years.

“You know I follow you on Twitter” she told him casually. “I have to say how inspiring your tweets are and Thankyou for reintroducing me to bands and artists I haven’t heard in a long while aswell as new ones.”

“Ah, do you now, darling, I shall have to follow you when I get home” he replied before thanking her about his inspiring tweets swapping phone numbers, kissing her on the cheek and bidding her farewell for the morning.

Tom was smitten; Britt couldn’t have been more beautiful or down to earth. It was nice just to be himself rather than Tom Hiddleston the actor. He felt he could just be Tom around her which he felt he hadn’t been able to be in a long while.

He spent his afternoon with Megan getting to know her like he had with Britt that morning, he quickly found she wasn’t as interesting as Britt but still smiled and made conversation with her stealing casual glances and smiles at Britt throughout the afternoon. At one point Britt was so caught up in conversation laughing and giggling with the actor who would be playing her brother, Sebastian that Tom found himself wishing that he could make her laugh like that. Even though he had made her laugh quite a few times that morning it just didn’t sound the same. She had such a beautiful laugh he only wished he had caused it.

Britt had had such a great day it was a shame that it had to end. Tom was lovely, she felt like he had known him forever; it was nice to know that they had quite a lot in common. She hoped they would continue to become closer. Joe, who was playing Sebastian, was also lovely but not in the way Tom was. Britt could see Joe as more of a brother, whereas she hoped that throughout the next few weeks her`s and Tom`s relationship would grow into something more. If it didn’t however she would still be happy to have him as just a friend.

Tom caught her on her way out. “Hey, Britt, Britt wait up” Tom called out to her just as she was about to exit the theatre. “Would you like to get a coffee with me? I don’t want today to end quite yet”. Britt smiled.

“Ofcourse Tom that would be lovely” he smiled linking her arm through his like he had done earlier that morning escorting her out of the building.

It had begun to rain quite heavily when they made their way out of the theatre. Neither of them had thought to bring an umbrella with them with it being spring. Tom was in a white t shirt, jeans and cowboy boots with his leather jacket over the top whilst Britt was dressed in a pink and black spotted skirt, pink sun top and black cardigan.

As soon as they stepped out of the theatre Tom took off his leather jacket and placed it over both of their heads taking Britt’s hand and running with her until they reached the nearest coffee shop. They were both breathing heavily when they reached the coffee shop.

Tom couldn’t help but think how nice it would be to cause her to breath as heavy as that. He then got this image in his head of their bodies tangled up together, heavy breathing and moaning coming from both of them. Tom coughed to get the thought out of his head. He couldn’t be thinking like that especially when he had only just met her.

Britt went and found a table near the window so she could watch the rain patter against the window onto the streets of London. It was just beginning to get dark; the rush hour was just starting to kick in as it had just hit 5, men and women in business suits walking down the wet streets eager to get home, shoppers running into the nearest shop to keep dry. Britt loved London she was so glad she moved here once she finished RADA.

Tom came back with their coffees sitting in the chair opposite her at the other end of the table. He placed her coffee down next to her. Britt was still looking out of the window. “Here we are, darling, a nice hot cup of coffee” Britt jumped hearing his voice. There was such a long queue that she didn’t expect him to be back so soon.

“Sorry, darling I didn’t mean to make you jump. Are you okay?”

“Hmm, yeah...what?”

“You looked lost in thought, what were you thinking about?” Tom asked taking a sip of his coffee. She watched him intently. Once he had finished she took a sip of hers, Tom mirrored her previous move watching her before asking her again what she was thinking about before he came back with her coffee.

“I was thinking how much I love London, especially in the rain, it’s beautiful.”

“It is, I love London too. I get to travel the world being an actor but nothing beats London. London’s home.”

“It is for me too. Well it felt like it before but even more so now that I officially live here. I used to come here a lot as a child, every weekend infact-“. Britt cut herself off not wanting to bore Tom with her life story or about her mother or father.

Tom took her hand in his across the table. “Please continue darling, I’ll listen by all means I find you very interesting. Tell me about your childhood”. Britt hesitated looking at her hand in Tom`s and the way it fit so perfectly. She loved the way her hand felt in his.  She couldn’t help but imagine those perfect talented hands all over her body. She coughed to get the thought out of her head taking another sip of her coffee before telling Tom about her childhood, how she had always loved performing ever since she went and saw wicked, how her father thought it would be a good idea to take her to a show to take her mind off her mother’s death. How it had worked and how she had been in love with the theatre and wanted to become an actress ever since. How she took part in all of the performances at school and the look on her fathers face, how proud he was of her, about her time at college and being accepted into RADA, her father passing away and how she almost gave up and quit but then saw his picture and how much of an inspiration it was to work with him and how nice it was to meet him.

Tom listened contently nodding in all the right places and saying the right things, how sorry he was about her parents and how proud they would have been of her, wiping her tears away when she spoke about her father. It broke his heart to see her cry and he promised himself that he would never make her cry and promised her that he would always be there for her and never hurt her.

Britt then changed the subject saying that it was enough about her and for him to tell her about himself. He did, telling her about his family, how his mum and dad had divorced when he was thirteen and how he threw himself into acting as an escape, a lot like she did. He told her about his sisters and the plays and films he had worked on, what it was like working with Stephen Spielberg and Woody Allen and all the amazing actors and actresses he had gotten to work with but also how he sometimes got lonely and how he wasn’t too keen on going back to an empty hotel room when he was away or an empty flat when he was at home. It was so nice to be able to talk to her and tell her how he was feeling.

They had lost track of time ordering another cup of coffee and chatting the evening away. Before they knew it the coffee shop was closing and they were being told to leave.

The rain had subsided by the time they got outside; the city was beginning to be lit by the street lamps. London was most prettiest at night. Tom offered her his jacket slipping it around her shoulders. “May I escort you home, darling I would hate to know you were out alone in the dark” Tom asked Britt. In truth Tom didn’t want to leave her, he had thoroughly enjoyed her company and he didn’t want to admit it to her but he was falling for her. Fast. She looked reluctant but eventually gave in as she didn’t want to leave him, either.

The two walked along the wet streets of London arm in arm for around half an hour before reaching Britt’s apartment in Covent Garden. He bid her goodnight at her door pulling her in for an embrace. She smelled like heaven, a mixture of strawberry shampoo and perfume. Britt couldn’t help but cuddle up to him closer, she loved the smell of his Armani aftershave mixed with the hint of Tom. She could get used to this. He held her tighter not wanting to let go. Was it really possible to fall in love with someone so quickly? Both felt as though they could be themselves around the other. She finally let go offering him his jacket back, he told her to keep it giving her another quick embrace and kiss on the cheek before biding her `a thousand times goodnight` and walking back down the streets of London to his flat.

Britt found a text from him when she got inside. She smiled to herself before reading it:

Thankyou for such a lovely day darling, I have enjoyed our conversations and look forward to spending the next sixteen weeks with you. A thousand times good night my dear sleep well and I shall see you tomorrow. Tom xxx

She smiled to herself thinking of how to reply to that. Did it need a reply? She thought it would be nice to text him back but she wasn’t sure what to say. She checked her Twitter in the process to find out he had infact followed her on Twitter as promised and that he had tweeted a new tweet.

@twhiddleston: Exceptionally fun time at the first day of rehearsals for Twelfth Night here’s looking at you @BrittAdams. Blessed to have such a lovely co star and can’t wait for you all to see it.

She smiled for the millionth time that day. Was this the effect he had on her, constantly making her smile? If so she could certainly live with that.

She typed a quick text back:

No, Thankyou Tom, I haven’t felt like I can be myself around someone in such a long time. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Good Night. P.S Thankyou for keeping your promise and following me on Twitter and for the lovely tweet. I too am blessed to have such a handsome and absolutely lovely co star. I shall see you tomorrow. Britt xxx

You’re more than welcome, darling, sweet dreams. Tom. Xxx

With that last text Britt smiled once more, turned off her light and fell into a deep sleep, dreaming of becoming Viola and falling in love with Orsino, in this case, with Tom.

* * * * * *

They were now a month into rehearsals for Twelfth Night. Tom and Britt continued to get closer, most nights ended as the first day of rehearsal had, with going for coffee or dinner and Tom escorting her home. The more time they spent together the more they liked each other and became closer.

Neither could keep the smiles off their faces when they saw the other act or when they had scenes together. Britt melted everytime she heard Tom read the opening scene, the `If Music Be the Food of Love` monologue.

Their relationship developed as the play progressed. Tom couldn’t take not telling her how he felt about her any longer and asked her to be his after a theatre date to see Wicked. He had surprised her with it after one of their rehearsals.

They arrived outside the theatre and saw the sign saying Wicked at the top of the theatre; Britt couldn’t help the tears that fell from her eyes. She hadn’t been to see Wicked since her father had passed and just seeing the sign bought back so many memories.

“Oh my gosh, darling `I`m so sorry I didn’t mean to make you cry... I... I thought you’d like it” Tom stuttered looking down at his shoes. Britt felt really bad for crying but she didn’t know how to tell Tom.

Once the tears had finished falling she cupped his face in her hands “Tom, Tom look at me” when he finally did a smile appeared on her face. He smiled weakly back but it didn’t reach his eyes. “I`m sorry for getting upset it’s just...It’s just... I…I haven’t been back here since my father passed. Really it’s the nicest thing anyone has every done for me, you listening and remembering the first show I saw and bringing me back here is really the loveliest thing and I cant Thankyou enough.”

“Are you sure darling because we don’t have to go in if you don’t want to?” Britt smiled.

“No. No I want to” she replied taking a deep breath “I`m sorry if I cry though”

“Darling, please don’t apologise for crying its only natural, atleast I know its not because of me that your upset, that’s the last thing I would want, I will never hurt you, I need you to know that.” she smiled. “I do, Tom, I do” he smiled kissing her on the cheek. “Now then fair maiden, may I escort you into the theatre and back to the land of Oz?”

“You may” Tom linked her arm for the millionth time since he had known her and escorted her into the theatre.

Britt cried at the scene where Glinda and Elpheba sang `For Good`, that song reminded her of her father, she always used to say that her father had changed her for the better. Tom saw the tears rolling down her eyes and grabbed her hand stroking the back of it and using his other hand to wipe her tears.

After the performance had ended they found there way back outside. They stood there for a while looking at the night sky and the Wicked sign lit up.

“Thankyou for such a lovely day, Tom well actually Thankyou for the last few months, I’ve never felt so close to someone in all my life and I really appreciate it.” It was now or never Tom thought. It had been a perfect evening and the only thing that would make it better would be if Britt agreed to be his.

“You’re more than welcome, darling as I said, it’s my pleasure and I love how I can just be myself around you. I love how close we’ve become over the last few months, I love the way you smile, the way you laugh, your eyes, your hair, the way you cuddle into me more when I embrace you”. Britt smiled. Tom took her hands in his leaning in to whisper in her ear “And I think there’s the slight possibility that I’ve fallen in love with you” he said before looking down at his shoes. He tended to do that a lot when he was nervous. Britt stood there for a while trying to comprehend what he had just told her. She smiled squeezing his hand. He looked up at her. “There’s a possibility ive fallen in love with you too, Tom, ever since that first day I saw you and got talking with you, the fact that you just listened whilst I spoke and told you everything, that meant a lot and then when we got to know each other more and began acting with each other. You’re a born talent Tom and I know I’ve only known you a few months but I feel it too, the jolt of electricity hits me everytime I see you, everytime you laugh, everytime you smile, I laugh and smile with you, the way I feel when you hold my hand, quote Shakespeare to me, just everything Tom. You really are everything, Tom. I love you” he smiled the biggest smile, a smile that reached his eyes, the smile she had grown to love so much over the past few months. He leaned into kiss her placing kisses on her head, eyelids, nose and cheek before kissing her on the lips, a passionate kiss full of emotion, the emotion he felt for her and had felt since he had first laid eyes on her. He loved her and she loved him.

“I love you, Britt” he told her”

I love you too, Tom” she replied.

To think when he had first bought Britt to see Wicked earlier that evening she had gotten upset and to see her face now, a huge smile on her face made Tom`s heart swell.

Wicked had always held a happy place for Britt, the place she knew she wanted to be an actress and memories spent with her father, although those memories wouldn’t be forgotten, Wicked now held a new memory, the place and night Tom asked her to be his.

I Knew it was Love:A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

I Knew it was Love-A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

A/N: A one shot based on the prompt `And then Tom said her name and I knew it was love`. It is also partly based around my video message from Tom Hiddleston where he says my name which can be found here. http://iamtheseany.tumblr.com/post/37155089491/tom-hiddleston-signing-and-chatting-also-him I’ve changed the name of the OC as I felt I tend to use my own name in most of my fics. For Catherine Wilson @CJMacBeathW

Never in my entire life did I think I would be marrying an actor, let alone Tom Hiddleston, an actor I had admired for so many years.

I remember when me and my best friend Catherine first met him. Catherine was a journalist for one of the biggest film magazines in the country: Total Film and had invited me along to the premiere of The Avengers as her plus one as she knew I was a fan of many of the actors going, one in particular, one that went by the name of Tom Hiddleston.

As soon as I saw him butterflies began to form in the pit of my stomach and my heartbeat increased by 100bpm. Tom Hiddleston stood about a meter away dressed in black trousers, slacks and blazer accompanied by a white dress shirt and black bow tie, his hair a gingery brown upon his gorgeous head. Very James Bond.

He worked his way down the press pen smiling and answering all the interviewers’ questions. So polite. Such a gentleman. It took all of my strength to not fangirl as he slowly worked his way down the pen and nearer to where we were standing, well where Catherine was standing, I was stood just to the left of her as to not get in the shot whilst she interviewed him.

He soon came over to where were we standing, Catherine just infront of me so he knew she was the one interviewing him. He smiled extending his hand to her. `Tom Hiddleston`. Catherine took it and shook it `Catherine Wilson: Total Film, pleasure to meet you Mr Hiddleston` he smiled his pearly whites. I stood there trying so hard not to speak, my mouth a jar. Tom laughed his ehehe as he looked straight into my eyes. `And who is this beautiful young woman? ` Tom asked extending his hand. `Rachel` I stuttered taking his hand.  `Rachel` Tom repeated. The way his name rolled off my tongue was pure poetry. Tom turned the back of my hand over in his and placed a kiss on my knuckles. A spark of electricity ran through me. Was this really happening? Catherine coughed bringing us out of our daze. Tom let go of my hand.

`Forgive me, Tom I don’t mean to intrude on you meeting my friend here, she’s a huge fan but I really need to interview you otherwise I’ll get in trouble with my boss.` Tom smiled an apologetic look on his face. `Sorry, where were we? `

Catherine began her interview. Tom answered all of her questions stealing casual glances at me in the process. I smiled at him trying not to stare for too long. Once Catherine had finished interviewing him she thanked him and shook his hand. He then came over to me kissing my knuckles and slipping a piece of paper into my hand before saying it was a pleasure and continuing his way back down the press pen to continue his interviews. Catherine continued hers too, interviewing the rest of the cast including Chris Hemsworth and director Joss Whedon.

It wasn’t long before the interviews were done and all the actors and journalists piled there way into the cinema to watch The Avengers. I was so excited to see it as I loved Tom`s portrayal of Loki in Thor and couldn’t wait to see how he developed. Before I went into the cinema I took the piece of paper Tom had given me out from inside my pocket. My hands were shaking when I opened it. It read:

Rachel, Darling,

It was a pleasure to meet you. I would love to see you again. If you wish to see me again please meet me outside the back entrance of the theatre after the film. If not then feel free to call or text me anytime on the number below.

07654342108

Tom x

I wonder when he could possibly have had the time to write that, maybe he had a note already written out to give to one of the journalists he would chat up. No, no, he wasn’t like that. He must have gotten Luke to write it or something.

I pushed the thought out of my mind and walked into the theatre. I watched the film in complete awe, wondering where the hell you would even begin with making a film like that. When Tom came on screen it took everything for me not to shout infront of the whole entire cinema that I had just met him. Instead I leaned over to Catherine `Oh my god, I can’t believe I’ve just met him` I whispered to her. She looked over at me and smiled before whispering back `And you’ve got a date with him after the film` I squealed quietly.

After the film had finished we made our way out of the front of the cinema, Catherine to the after party, not before telling me to text her if I needed her whilst I went and met Tom at the back entrance.

I started to have doubts that the note wasn’t for me when he wasn’t there when I arrived. I assumed that he had just been held up what with his cast mates and groups of journalists waiting to interview him again.

About ten minutes later Tom came out of the back entrance apologising. As soon as he saw me his face lit up, a wide smile appearing on his gorgeous face, a smile that reached his gorgeous shiny blue eyes.

“I didn’t think you was going to show for a minute” I laughed.

“I am so sorry to have kept you waiting, darling I got caught up with press and then Joss wanted to talk to the cast and congratulate us on our performances.” He smiled an apologetic smile. I smiled back.

“I have to say it was an absolutely phenomenal performance” I said

“Bless you for saying that, darling. Forgive me if you wanted to attend the after party but I would much rather take you to dinner and get to know you” I smiled. “Shall we?” he offered me his arm. I took it without hesitation.

Over dinner we found out we had a lot in common including our love of music and books. I asked him about his life whilst he asked me about mine. It was as though i`d know him for years. He was ever the gentleman pulling my chair out and holding the door open for me and when dinner was over he escorted me back to my flat giving me the softest of kisses on the lips asking if he could see me again. I agreed and I had seen him pretty much everyday since. The fangirl inside me soon wore off and I just got know him as Tom which was much nicer than fangirling over him as Tom Hiddleston the actor.

Not long after that he sold is house in Westminster and moved in with me as he spent most of his time at my house. He said it was more homely than his which I disagreed with, I loved his house more than my own but didn’t argue. I got along well with his mum and dad and sister, Emma. I’d also heard a lot about his older sister Sarah but hadn’t met her yet as she lived in India with her family.

We were still going strong a few years later and on our third year anniversary Tom proposed to me on a London rooftop looking over the city, the view of the London eye and Big Ben lighting up the night, it was beautiful.

It took about a year to plan the wedding. Tom said he didn’t mind where we got married as long as he married me and could officially call me his wife. We decided on Highcleare Castle, the house used in the period drama Downton Abbey as we were both huge fans.

Tom wore a gorgeous grey Armani suit and red tie, his hair a browny ginger like when I first met him with a few days stubble covering his chin and bottom lip whilst I wore a simple long white dress with a train and gorgeous vale.

The ceremony was lovely I walked down the stairs that was used in the show feeling like Mary Crawley which was quite ironic considering Michelle Dockery and some of the other cast of Downton were there. Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford were also there along with Benedict Cumberbatch and the cast of The Avengers. I couldn’t believe that all these famous celebrities were at my wedding!

At the end of the day none of that mattered, the only thing that mattered was that Tom was waiting for me at the end of the isle and that all my friends and close family were there. Catherine was my maid of honour along with Tom`s sister, Emma and a couple of my cousins.

We said our vows and signed the register. It was weird signing my name as Mrs Hiddleston but I was so happy. After we had signed the register friends and family members came over and congratulated us before we all went outside and posed for photographs outside the castle and on the grounds before making our way to the Saloon where the reception was going to take place.

The Saloon was a beautiful building within the castle just opposite the staircase I walked down before walking into the library to say our vows. The tables had been set up at one side of the room, with the top table at the back of the room and smaller rounder tables surrounding it, half of the room was left clear as the dance floor.

The buffet was laid out on a long table, much like the top table, to the left side of the room. It was simple but lovely and featured all the things you could possibly imagine a buffet to have, sausage rolls, cocktail sausages, a range of sandwiches, the lot. We decided we’d go simple rather than splashing out lots of money on a fancy three course meal.

Once the buffet had been eaten it was time for the speeches. My dad got up first saying how happy he was that I’d found someone that had made me so happy. He welcomed Tom to the family with open arms and said that he was proud to have such a talented son in law.

Catherine made a speech next as she was my maid of honour. “I’ve know Rachel all my life, we’ve had our happy moments, our sad moments and our crazy moments. She’s had many obsessions over the years including one with Pirates of the Caribbean, Audrey Hepburn and Downton Abbey- which is most likely why she wanted to get married here.” Everyone laughed. “I accepted her through all of these and I knew it wouldn’t be long until she was obsessed with something or someone else. When she first discovered Tom I knew I wouldn’t hear the last of it and that it would be an obsession she had forever. She went on about how perfect and gorgeous he was and so when I became a journalist I invited her to the premiere of The Avengers as I knew Tom was going to be there. Her face when she saw him was a picture. She was so starstruck that the man she had admired and been obsessing over for years was right in front of her and when he said her name for the first time I knew it was love. Now here we are less than four years later and she’s married to her favourite actor. Who would have thought it? Everyone laughed again. “Anyway what I`m trying to say in my own weird way is that I love you and am glad that you and Tom are so happy and that your fairytale worked out. So if everyone would be so kind as to raise their glasses to the new happily married Mr and Mrs Thomas Hiddleston”

“Mr and Mrs Thomas Hiddleston” the crowd cheered and clinked glasses. In that moment I knew I couldn’t be happier and that I’d married the man of my dreams.

Tom finished the speeches by thanking everybody for coming, saying how perfect the day had been and how happy he was to now be married to be and to be able to call me Mrs Hiddleston.

After the speeches the music began and me and Tom took up our place of the dance floor for our first dance as man and wife. We decided that our first dance song would be `You Belong to Me` by Jo Stafford as The Deep Blue Sea was one of my favourites of Tom`s movies and he liked the song too.

He guided me on to the dancefloor and we began a slow waltz along with the song. I was happy and content. I’d finally married the man of my dreams I was so happy. A group of guests gathered round the two of us taking photos whilst some others came and joined us on the dancefloor.

Tom spun me around before bringing me in for a long passionate kiss. “Thankyou for marrying me Mrs Hiddleston today has been the best day of my life and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you and have children with you. I love you”

“I’ll never tire of you calling me that” I sighed snuggling against his shoulder.

“I`m glad darling, because I don’t plan to stop calling you it anytime soon, Mrs Hiddleston. He kissed my cheek. “Mrs Hiddleston” he kissed my head. “Mrs Hiddleston. He kissed my neck. “Mrs Hiddleston” he said once more before placing a kiss on my lips.

“I love you Mrs Hiddleston”

“I love you too, Mr Hiddleston”

We enjoyed the rest of the evening enjoy the evening and time with our guests it was certainly a day I would never forget.

Drowning: A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

Drowning: A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

Hello darlings I got this idea for one shot from @AvengersAims on Twitter who comes up with these imagine situations about Tom Hiddleston and The Avengers Cast. Here’s a one shot based on this imagine: You almost drown and the next time you open your eyes you see Tom kneeling beside you and he’s dripping wet. This is a non actor Tom fanfic. Hope you enjoy. For @AvengersAims <3

You’d never really enjoyed swimming, accept for when you were little and could still get away with using arm bands or a rubber ring. When you had gotten past that age and had to go swimming every Wednesday with the school at primary you grew to dislike it and had ever since.

You don’t know why you’d agreed to go swimming at the local pool with your friends in the first place when you knew you wouldn’t do anything more than dip your toes in the water.

Maybe it was because you felt that you hadn’t spent much time with them as you should have recently, especially as everything was changing next year. You were all going your separate ways; some were staying on for sixth form whilst you and a few others were off to college.

You never did like school and decided that you needed to take a different path to your friends in order to fulfil your dream career as a journalist. You’d always enjoyed English and Media and didn’t see the point of staying on for sixth form and doing loads of irrelevant subjects when you could go to college and study exactly what you really wanted to on one course that covered everything you would need. So you were going to take a different path to your friends and hopefully fulfil your career aspirations.

You packed your towel and black bathing costume into a bag before heading out of the house to meet your friends at the shop near your house so you could walk to the swimming pool together.

Once you arrived you all went into the changing room and changed into your swimming costumes before going out to the pool. Your friends all ran and jumped in the pool leaving you to slowly walk and sit beside the poolside dangling your toes in the water. It was warm. It was nice to just relax.

You suddenly felt self conscious, eyes watching you. You looked over to see a boy of around nineteen dressed in a blue t shirt and black shorts with blonde curly hair all over the place sat in a chair above the pool watching you. He must be the lifeguard you thought. He smiled. You smiled back.

You were too busy looking at the boy that you didn’t realise you had been pulled into the water by your legs. You adjusted to the warm water quickly. This isn’t so bad you thought.

Suddenly you were getting splashed, water going in your eyes. You couldn’t see and before you knew it you had been pushed under water. You panicked, you couldn’t breathe- you’d gone into panic mode not able to the move.

You felt two strong arms wrap around you and the next thing you felt was someone pushing on your chest, calling your name and giving you the kiss of life. You finally open your eyes choking up water as you do. You realise your at the side of the pool the boy from earlier kneeling beside you on his knees, shirtless and dripping wet. You take in his wet torso, the beginnings of a six pac starting to form and his curly blonde hair dripping wet. It was a beautiful sight.

You blinked twice and looked up at him, a look of concern on his beautiful face. “Jess, are you ok? My names Tom, can you hear me?” he said in a voice dripping with honey, so beautiful. I spluttered before speaking “You saved me and you’re shirtless and so beautiful”. Oh god, did I really just say that? Tom laughed throwing his head back Ehehehe. “Really, darling, you almost drown and all you can say is that im shirtless. Are you okay?”

“Erm..Yeah..I..I`m…I`m…I…I`m fine” you stutter. Tom wipes a strand of hair away from your face placing it behind your ear smiling down at you and taking your hand to help you up.

“Thankyou for saving my life…erm Tom” you say and smile.

“It was my pleasure, darling; it’s what im here for, to save beautiful girls like yourself. I hope almost drowning and me saving you hasn’t put you off coming here again, I would certainly like to see more of you” you blushed at his comment before saying it certainly hadn’t, if anything it had made you want to come back more. You shook his hand and thanked him again before turning and walking back to the changing room to change and go to lunch with your friends.

Swimming had certainly been better than expected and you couldn’t wait to go and see Tom again.

Coming Home: A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

Coming Home-A Tom Hiddleston One Shot

A/N: A one shot based on the song `Coming Home` by Pixie Lott. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1hhYl5a24o

You had both been so busy recently that you had hardly seen or spent anytime with your fiancée Tom. He always seemed to have to be on set early or by the time he came back from his jog you would had gone to work and everytime you tried to wait up for him to come home you never could. You seemed to be living in the same house but not seeing or spending anytime together.

Tonight was going to be different however as Tom finished on set around the same time you finished at the office so you should be home around the same time and get to spend the evening together. Just the two of you.

You had met Tom at the premiere of War Horse; you were one of the lucky journalists who got to interview him on the red carpet. He looked absolutely gorgeous, as always dressed in a white dress shirt, black bow tie and black dress shirt, his hair a mop of browny black on the top of his head and supporting a goatee the same colour as his hair. A pearly white smile, that reached his gorgeous baby blue eyes etched on his face.

The interview had gone well. He then said that he wasn’t one to break the rules and ask a journalist who had just interviewed him out to dinner but he couldn’t resist saying how beautiful you looked. You admitted to him that you weren’t usually one to go out with actors, but for him you would make an exception. Looking back you were certainly glad you did.

You’d had much any argument about not being able to see each other. You never really meant the things you said you just missed each other. It was especially hard when Tom was away filming and you was at home alone. It felt as though he had taken half of your heart with him whenever he was away.

You could never seem to be able to sleep properly when his body wasn’t close to yours. Even the smell of him was a comfort. When he wasn’t around you slept with one of his shirts next to you on the pillow imagining he was there. Many a times you woke up thinking he was there when he wasn’t. That upset you a lot.

He tried to call you when he could but the time differences used to get in the way, you used to try and call him and he would be asleep or he’d call you and you was at work. Nothing seemed to work and your relationship seemed to be falling apart.

You knew what you got yourself in for before you started going out with him however, but you couldn’t help but fall more and more in love with him everyday. He was truly perfect and you loved him with your whole heart.

You couldn’t believe it when he proposed to you at the top of the London Eye at midnight. It was truly magical. The city was all lit up and Big Ben and the River Thames were just off in the distance. You were looking out from your booth at the city when he came up behind you putting his hands around your waist and kissing your neck. He whispered how happy he was and how much he loved you in your ear before getting down on one knee and asking you to make him the happiest man in the world, to marry him and become Mrs Hiddleston. You couldn’t believe it. That was the easiest `yes` you had ever agreed too. The evening was perfect. London was perfect. Tom was perfect!

You were so happy and tonight was also going to be perfect; you got to spend the evening together, with Tom Hiddleston. Your Tom. Your fiancée who you couldn’t believe you were going to marry next year. You were going to be Mrs Hiddleston.

The morning before you were going to spend the evening together you were finally both in the house together. You much preferred it when Tom was filming in London than when he was away. When he was filming in London it meant he didn’t have to leave straight after brushing his teeth and you could spend a bit longer in bed together. You set your alarm for six so you could spend a few hours cuddling before both having to get up and be out of the house for eight.

It was a Friday and Tom`s last day of filming Thor 2, it was also the last day of the week for you, well at the office anyway, you would still have to transcribe a few interviews at the weekend but that wasn’t half as bad as the work you had to do at the office.

Your alarm went off dead on six. You groaned reaching over to your bedside to turn it off. Just as you did you felt two strong arms come around your waist and Tom nuzzling your hair.

“Good morning, love” Tom said

“Hmm Good Morning” you sighed happily before turning to face Tom giving him a morning kiss and snuggling up to his side.

“Did you sleep well, darling?”

“I always sleep better when you’re in the bed next to me. Having your shirt next to me doesn’t have quite the same effect” you smiled cuddling into him more taking in his scent, his faded Armani aftershave from the night before and the faint smell of just him. You loved the way he smelled. Always so clean.

“I`m glad, love I’d hate to think I’d been replaced by one of my shirts” he chuckled his ehehe. You loved his laugh there was something so infectious about it.

You took this as your opportunity to throw a pillow at him. It hit him in the face. He then took his and threw it back at you. Just as you was about to throw it at him again Tom grabbed your wrists. The pillow dropped on the mattress with a thud. “I wouldn’t do that if I were you; darling I wouldn’t want to have to blame you for the make up artists having to cover a bruise, now, would I? He said a smirk on his lips. You smiled. He then took this as his queue and started tickling your sides. You squealed. “Tom. No... Stop…Tom, please” you said in-between giggles. It wasn’t long before Tom was straddling your hips continuing to tickle you kissing, sucking and biting your neck and shoulder. He then placed kisses on your head, eyelids, cheeks and finally your lips. Your giggles soon turned into moans as you began grinding your hips into his. You made love as the sun rose through the blinds.

At about seven you got up and went to have a shower whilst Tom went downstairs to make you a cup of tea and a plate of toast. You came downstairs feeling refreshed dressed in your brown jeans, black boots and white and purple striped jumper to see Tom at the kitchen counter reading the paper sipping a cup of coffee. You smiled at the sight. You loved having him at home and you couldn’t wait to be married to him.

Tom looked up from his paper when you sat on a chair opposite him at the table. You smiled taking a sip of your tea and bite of your toast trying not to look down at the chest hair that was poking out through his red and blue checkered shirt. You sat there in silence for a while enjoying the morning, your breakfast and each others company. Tom broke the silence first.

“So, darling, since were both have the evening free, what do you fancy doing?” he asked. You thought for a moment. “I don’t mind, as long as I`m spending time with you, love” you smile.

“Do you want to stay in or go out?”

“You know me, Tom, I`m no good at making decisions” you both laughed.

“How do you fancy a night in? I’ll cook you dinner and we can sit and watch a few movies and I’ll read to you before spending the rest of the evening in bed making up for lost time? This morning certainly wasn’t enough darling” you smiled. That you most certainly agreed with.

“Sounds perfect, Tom” you smiled. He smiled back. You got lost in each others eyes for a moment. The chiming of the clock letting you know that it was 7.45 pulled you out of your trance.

You went and put your mug and plate in the sink, giving Tom a quick kiss on the lips before going upstairs to clean your teeth. You came downstairs a few minutes later. Tom was at the bottom of the stairs all ready for his last day on set holding out your jacket for you to slip into.

“I wasn’t expecting you to leave this early too.” you said

“I haven’t really but I thought we could get a cab and I can come with you to the office as I have about an hour to spare before I`m due on set.” You smiled. Tom held the door open for you. You zipped up your coat and walked out of the door into the cool London air, Tom following behind.

It didn’t take long to hail a cab. You both got in telling the driver to take you to the Empire Office and then Tom to the studio he was filming at. Tom held your hand the entire cab ride playing with your engagement ring on your left finger.

“I can’t wait to marry you and for you to become Mrs Hiddleston, darling” Tom said a grin on his face, bringing your left hand to lips placing a kiss over the ring. You smiled.

“I can’t wait either, love, I love you” his smile got wider.

“I’ll never tire of hearing you say that. I love you too”

“Get used to it Thomas, darling as I wont be stopping anytime soon, infact I’ll likely be telling you more.”

We soon arrived at the Empire office. Tom gave you a long passionate kiss. “I look forward to tonight, my love” he said against your lips. “I love you”.

“I look forward to it too, darling, have a great last day filming and send Chris and Elsa my love” “I love you too” you gave him one last kiss before getting out of the cab and watching it drive away.

The day at the office dragged. You loved your job, you did but today it just seemed to drag. You couldn’t wait to get home and spend the evening with Tom.

You found a text from Tom in your lunch break.

Looking forward to our evening together, my love. I love you- T xxx

Me too, darling. The day is dragging is it 5 o clock yet? Xxx

Afraid it’s only 1 o clock, dear. Only 4 more hours to go. I think I`m leaving set earlier than planned so should be home before you. - T xxx

Can’t wait to see you and be back in your arms.  Got to go back to work, see you about 5:30. I love you Thomas William Hiddleston. I can’t wait to marry you. Xxx

The feeling is entirely mutual, my darling. See you later. Hope the rest of the day goes quickly for you. I love you too, darling so much. I can’t wait to officially call you my wife, Mrs Hiddleston. Xxx

You smiled reading that last text before going back to writing up a review on the latest and final part of the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn-Part 2.

The afternoon tended to fly a lot quicker than the morning and before you knew it, it was 5 o clock and you were on the tube home.

You walked in the door about 5.45. The smell of spaghetti bologonse filling the house. “Darling, I`m home” you called to Tom. “In the kitchen, love” he called back. You smiled, taking off your boots and your bag and leaving them in the hall before walking into the kitchen.

“Mmmm something smells good” you sighed walking over to Tom who was standing by the stove with a towel over his shoulder a spoon in his left hand stirring the mince. You walked up behind him placing your hands around his waist nuzzling your cheek into his shirt. Tom turned to face you putting his hand around your waist and kissing the top of your head.

“I missed you so much today” you told him.

“Oh, darling, I missed you too. How was work?”

“Hmm it was ok; the afternoon didn’t seem to drag as much as the morning did. I managed to get all of my work done although I’ve still got a few more interviews to transcribe. How was the last day of filming?” you asked.

“I`m glad it the afternoon went faster. Filming went well; I didn’t have a lot to do today just a few reshoots. Me and Chris spent most of the day chatting, he asked how you were and if we had decided on a date for the wedding yet. I told him we hadn’t and that we still needed to discuss it. I thought maybe we could do that tonight? He then asked if we wanted to go round for dinner in a few weeks time. I said that I’d talk to you first but was pretty sure you would want to as you and Elsa get on so well.”

You smiled. “Yeah, we can discus it tonight, I was thinking just a low key wedding, Ive never really wanted a big wedding just a few of my closest friends and family but obviously your family are bigger than mine so it’s up to you and ofcourse we can go round to Chris’s in a few weeks. You don’t have to ask me all the time, Tom. You know I’ll quite happily go anywhere with you.” Tom laughed at your joke. You gave him a puzzled look. “You said low key” he laughed his ehehe throwing his head back. You laughed too. He was such a big kid bless him.

Once you’re laughing had subsided you got the plates out from the cupboard and layed the table whilst Tom dished up. You enjoyed a lovely dinner and evening together curled up on the sofa before retiring to bed where you spent the evening making love. This was what coming home meant to you. Tom was your havan. Tom was home.
