Glee Live

 When the phenomenon that is Glee hit our screens in 2009 we were excited to get a glimpse into the lives of McKinley High’s Glee Club, ‘The New Directions’.

However, when we found out that the Glee Live arena tour was coming to the UK we were EVEN more excited! This being the case allowed us the opportunity to join Rachel, Finn and the rest of ‘The New Directions’ gang in singing along to some of our favorite songs from series two including a cover of My Chemical Romance ‘Sing’ along with Beyonce`s ‘Single ladies’ and Lady Gaga’s ‘Born this Way’.

The New Directions also brought some very special guests with them by the name of Blaine Anderson and the other Warblers who got the crowd even more excited singing along to their cover of Katy Perry’s ‘Teenage Dream’ and Pink’s ‘Raise your Glass’.

As well as the singing and dancing that Glee Live brings to the stage it also included a few laughs along the way with ‘The New Directions’ arch enemy Sue Sylvester appearing on screen with some of her jokes. Along with a skit with Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Darren Criss (Blaine) which involved Chris trying to make Darren laugh with a proposal by Kurt.

 The cast of Glee put on an amazing show leaving the audience on a high and wanting more singing all the way home.
