Women on the Front Line

Women on the front line

If you had the choice as a woman would you go to fight on the front line?

Women and men have never been equal, and never will be. Whether it’s about women getting less pay than men or whether it be that men have to pay more money for petrol than women.

Many women argue that jobs like being a mechanic can be done by both men and women but when it comes to jobs like the army and being on the front line do you think women would go on the front line or is the saying really true- women are expected to stay at home and look after their kids while the men go and fight in action out in Afghanistan or go to work.

Although fighting on the front line is a man’s job, if a women fought on the front line would it be different? Would the men be more aware and more protective or would they really be equal and be expected to carry on the job as if there wasn’t a woman on board?

Is it different for women who have a family? I believe that a women needs to be their for their daughters as their easier to talk to about girls problems. Even though dads can do that stuff too it just seems easier to be able to talk to your mum about boys and other problems rather than your dad. With this being the case if women were allowed to go on the front line. Would they? Or would they rather look after their family and be considered a house wife than go and fight out in action when their daughter might need them.

Those men who go in the army are aware that they’re there to fight for their country, women would also be aware but it’s more dangerous for them.

Women argue that in the army they can only do 67% of the jobs that men can do. In theory they can do most things in the army except be an infantry soldier and fight on the front line.

Men and women will never be equal but what do you think about the issue of women not being able to fight on the front line?

The choice is yours!
